Like other manufacturers, Honor is positioning itself in the AI market with the announcement of its Honor AI. Developed through collaborative efforts with partners like Qualcomm and Microsoft, Honor AI is designed to be a true personal assistant.
A response to Google and Apple
In a press release spotted by Android Central, Honor gave an overview of the functions that will arrive on its new Magic 7 series of smartphones. The company unveils an AI assistant that can understand your intentions and make decisions based on your needs.
The company indicates on X that the AI will be able to analyze the way we speak and associate it with our usage habits. Honor announces that its artificial intelligence will be able to manage your notifications, place your food order, transfer files from one application to another or even automatically cancel your subscription to an application.
With this artificial intelligence, Honor is directly attacking the solutions offered by Google with Google Gemini or even Apple and its Apple Intelligence which is long overdue.
Combating Disinformation
George Zhao, the CEO of Honor, also took this opportunity to unveil a new software called “AI Deepfake Detection” on the Magic 7 series.
Honor aims to combat the rise of deepfakes, which can be misused. The company states that its software is capable of analyzing facial imperfections at the pixel level, with detection being completed in a record time of “three seconds.”
For now, Honor has not announced an official launch date for its AI.
