DJI is preparing to launch an ultra-light, low-cost 4K drone, it’s called Neo

DJI, the Chinese drone giant, is preparing to launch its new Neo model. This ultra-light 4K drone promises impressive performance at an unbeatable price.

A leak reveals the DJI Neo, a new ultra-light 4K drone that could be a true game-changer.

A lightweight with champion performance

The DJI Neo weighs only 135 grams, barely heavier than a smartphone. This extreme lightness makes it ideal for indoor flights or close-up shots. But don’t be fooled: despite its small size, the Neo is equipped with a 4K camera and a potentially very powerful stabilizer.

But that’s not all! DJI has managed to integrate an artificial intelligence capable of tracking moving subjects. The idea is to film without having to worry about framing. The Neo takes care of everything!

Hello #DJINeo, this Mini 5 is obviously made to be the successor of the DJI Spark with direct QuickShots and one click flying. If these pictures are real, I think release is a matter of weeks. Hopefully it will fly FPV aswell. Follow for more leaks. Cheers! pic.twitter.com/kKZYa1hyXJ— Jasper Ellens | X27 (@JasperEllens) July 31, 2024

The 1,435 mAh battery offers 15 minutes of flight time. While this is certainly less than larger drones on the market, we’re talking about an ultra-compact device here. And good news: the basic package would include three batteries, which would triple your flight time.

A price that stings the competition

And this DJI Neo would be priced at $329. We’re now waiting for its official announcement.
